The JBox is loose on my seatpost, what should I do?
The JBox is designed with a small amount of clearance between the JBox and the seatpost. Insulating tape must be applied to ensure secure clamping, protect the seatpost, and better absorb vibrations. Please follow the instructions in the Assembly Guide.
How is the toolbox lid secured?
The lid is designed as a sliding cover and is securely held in place by an integrated locking tab. Once the lid is pushed into its closed position, the tab snaps into place and prevents it from opening unintentionally. This ensures a secure fit while still allowing easy access when needed.
How is the toolbox mounted to the seatpost?
The toolbox is mounted to the seatpost using an integrated clamp designed to match the seatpost geometry. For installation, the toolbox is slid onto the seatpost from below and then secured with the clamp. A small clearance is intentionally included so that a protective and damping layer, such as electrical tape, can be applied between the clamp and the seatpost. This helps protect the seatpost surface and reduces vibrations and impact loads.
How should the toolbox be cleaned?
The toolbox is made from PETG, so we recommend cleaning it only with water, mild soap, and a soft cloth. Gentle household cleaners that are known to be plastic-safe can also be used.
To avoid any risk of material damage or surface stress, do not use aggressive solvents or harsh chemicals, such as:
acetone
brake cleaner
paint thinner
strong alcohol-based cleaners
highly acidic or highly alkaline cleaning agents
We also recommend avoiding abrasive sponges or polishing compounds, as these may scratch the surface.
Do I need any tools for installation?
Yes. You will need a 4 mm Allen key for installation.

Will it damage my seatpost?
The toolbox is made from PETG. We recommend applying electrical tape at the clamping area so it can act as a damping layer and help protect the seatpost from damage. Please follow the assembly guide
